Local historian, journalist and author Marsha O’Mahony will be giving a Lunchtime Lecture, with slideshow, about her recently published book 'River Voices' at Castle House on Thursday, June 27 at 11.30am.
Filled with stories of the River Wye from ferrymen, boat and bridge builders, rowers, swimmers, anglers, poachers, river bailiffs and more, this book is a must-have for anyone who loves the River Wye and is interested in its history. Marsha will talk about the people she met and show some historic photographs, some never seen before, and sign copies of her book which will be available for £10.
