STAFF from a nursery feel honoured to be nominated for the Early Years Education Award.

Droitwich Spa Nursery and Kindergarten joined the Busy Bees family in late 2018.

Ashley Webb, nursery manager at Busy Bees Droitwich said: “As a nursery we feel extremely honoured to be nominated for the Early Years Education Award. It’s a fantastic feeling for the whole team to be recognised on this scale, for their hard work and dedication. As this was a parent nominated award it means so much to the team and we feel valued and appreciated by our parents.

“We have a very strong team, many of whom have been here for several years which ensures continuity across the setting."

The nursery in Worcester Road, Droitwich has upheld an outstanding rating by Ofsted since 2007.

Helen Bannister, nursery manager at Busy Bees Droitwich said: “Achieving outstanding Ofsted three times consecutively is no mean feat and I believe this is predominantly because of the dedication and care from our staff. They spend a lot of time with their key children, getting to know their personalities and supporting their individual needs, to create positive learning environments.”

Monika Cooper, who nominated the nursery said: “The nursery and the staff are absolutely amazing. They always go above and beyond for our disabled daughter. They accept her and they support her and her needs in every way possible. Our daughter is making incredible progress thanks to the lovely people taking care of her. They are like a family to us. They are inspirational and knowledgeable. Our daughter Liyla is taking her first independent steps thanks to an amazing and caring people at the nursery.”
