Hereford Round Table have donated more than £12,000 to county charities and good causes in 2018, but with their Rock The Barn festival approaching in June they hope to smash this figure for 2019.

The organisation – which has been hosting fundraising throughout the year – donates grants of between £50 and £5,000 to charitable causes around Herefordshire.

Those good causes range from charities to community groups and even individuals in need. Some will remember the story back in October when the group donated a mobility chair to Coby Leeves - a young lad from Herefordshire in need.

This year the group are looking to build on the success of Rock The Barn 2018 and run an event that will raise even more money for people in need around the county.

Rock The Barn takes place on June 29 out at Lower Chilstone Court, near Madley.

Phil Rowberry, Chairman of Hereford Table, said: "We are organising a family friendly one day music festival in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside."

"We have lots of great local bands on board, both on the main and acoustic stage. Some very well known food suppliers will be there on the day producing everything from burgers to fish and chips to Greek food."

"We want Herefordshire people to come along and support the event knowing that them having a great time will be helping a huge number of people throughout county."

The organisation hopes that the success of the event will allow them to reach their target of over £20,000 of donations for 2019.
