TODAY'S picture from the archive of the Worcester news dates back to July 1986, when the landlords of the Tavern and Brewery pub as Newnham Bridge, Bob and Eileen Bartlett, decided to retire after 20 years behind the bar. The pub made its own beer, less common then than now. Mr Bartlett started making his own after a brewery strike five years previously meant that supplies form the usual sources had run out.
