A PUBLIC access defibrillator has been installed on the wall of a malvern School.
The defibrillator is on the wall on Malvern St James School’s health and wellbeing centre on Barnards Green Road, opposite its sports and fitness centre.
Head Olivera Raraty said: “The school sees itself as part of the community and when we heard about Heartstart Malvern we felt it was an initiative we just had to support.
"Getting a school defibrillator accessible to the community and receiving excellent training from Heartstart Malvern volunteers we consider a win-win situation”
Teme Valley Electrical Services installed the cabinet for free.
Richard Hartley of Heartstart Malvern said: “We are delighted that Malvern St James has made the decision to locate their defibrillator externally in one of our recommended secure cabinets so that it may be accessible to all."
