A CARE home is launching a dementia support café to help families and friends caring for someone living with dementia.
The dementia support café will take place on Thursday, November 22 between 2pm and 4pm at Heathbrook House Bupa Care Home, in Stoke Heath.
Simon Brown, general manager at the care home, said: “Our support café will offer a safe haven where people living with someone with dementia can come together in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
"A specialist dementia champion from the home will also be there to offer extra support and will make sure everyone has the help and advice they need over a cup of coffee and cake.”
People are welcome to pop in or can book by calling 01527 903 966 or by emailing events@bupa.com.
