A FESTIVE fashion show raised hundreds for a Worcester animal rescue charity.

The show, at Powick Parish Hall, has been hailed a huge success, with 80 people attending and more than £700 raised for Worcester and District Cats Protection.

Local firms provided prizes for the raffle and a DJ gave the show a great atmosphere on Saturday.

Fran Holder, shop manager of the branch shop in St John's, said: "I want to say a massive thank you and well done to all those who helped and supported the show.

"This wouldn't have been possible without a lot of hard work and effort from a wonderful team of people.

"There was lots of unseen help behind the scenes - many people worked extra hard to make sure it all came together well.

"Thanks to the dedicated, hard working and patient volunteers, who all bring something to the Cats Protection family."
