THE Worcester branch of Cats Protection is holding a festive fashion show this month to showcase some of the charity shop's clothes.

People will get the chance to buy clothes and accessories at the show, which includes labels such as French Connection, Joules, Hobbs and Monsoon.

Fran Holder, manager of the branch's shop in St John's, Worcester, said: "The reason for the fashion show is that we get so many fabulous items that we wanted to show them off.

"The clothes also look very different on a person compared to a hanger and it does transform them.

"All the models in the show are volunteers from the shop, so we would like as many people to show their support for the show as they are being very brave to do this."

The items for the show have been collected over the past few months and there will be something for everyone, including a selection of casual, smart casual and evening clothes for the party season.

A local DJ has offered his time to put on music for the volunteers during the catwalk parade.

The event takes place on Saturday, November 10 at Powick Parish Hall. The show starts at 12pm although there will be an opportunity to buy clothes and accessories beforehand, when the doors open at 11am.

There will be a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, and light refreshments on the day.

Tickets are £2 on the door or available from the Cats Protection shop.
