SUITS worn by TV star Chris Tarrant are on sale in a charity shop in the centre of Malvern.

Four suits, made by upmarket menswear label Hugo Boss, are on sale at Déjà vu on Belle Vue Terrace.

The shop sells good-quality second-hand clothes to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester.

The suits, along with a jacket and some ties, also worn by Tarrant, were donated by a supporter of the hospice with a close connection to Chris Tarrant.

The suits are priced at £80 each.

A few people have tried on the suits, but none of them have been sold yet, according to the hospice.

The suits are described as “black, very smart and made with 100 per cent wool.”

The suits were donated along with a wardrobe continuity book picturing Chris Tarrant wearing the suits on It’s Not What You Know in 2008 and the celebrity special of Who Wants to be a Millionaire in 2013.

Jenny Luke, Déjà vu shop manager, said: “We are over the moon to have a touch of celebrity donations in the shop.

"It brings a little buzz to the shop and our menswear section.”

Chris Tarrant has a local connection, as he was was educated as a boarder in Choir House at the King’s School, Worcester from 1960 to 1964.

He represented the school at hockey and cricket and gained A, B and D grades at A-level in English, history and ancient history.

He rose to fame when he hosted the Saturday morning ITV children’s show Tiswas from 1974 to 1981.

He is best known for the ITV game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, which he hosted from 1998 to 2014, and he became known for his catchphrase: “Is that your final answer?”

St Richard’s Hospice provides free palliative and end-of-life care for patients living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as supporting their loved ones.

Each year the hospice team supports more than 3,300 patients, family members and bereaved people in Worcestershire.

St Richard’s is an independent charity and relies on donations for three-quarters of its annual £8.8m income with the remainder from the NHS.
