VISITORS to Webbs Garden Centres are in for a trick-or-treat this Halloween, with a series of spooktacular events including pumpkin-carving and a family circus.

Webbs at West Hagley will be welcoming the cast of John Lawson's circus from October 29 to November 3, with shows taking place at 10.30am, 1pm and 3pm daily.

The hour-long extravaganzas will feature aerial acrobatics, high speed juggling feats, balancing acts, escapology and crazy clown capers. Tickets cost £6 per person.

Back by popular demand, Webbs will be hosting pumpkin carving sessions at both Wychbold and West Hagley garden centres between October 27 and October 31.

Children can choose their own pumpkin, scoop it out and carve their own spooky face. Little ones can also carve with the assistance of Webbs' events team members.

Then it's time to light up their creations with a free battery operated tea light.

Sessions will take place between 10am and 4pm, costing £5.50 per child, which includes the pumpkin and tea light. Advance booking is required. Last admission is at 3.30pm.

Ed Webb, owner of Webbs, said: "We’re so excited to be welcoming back John Lawson’s circus this half term and can’t wait to see people at West Hagley. It really is so much fun, for all ages.

"Both our centres are also bringing back pumpkin carving, a real family-based, hands-on experience to tease out your creative sides.

"The designs in years gone by have been fabulous so we challenge this year’s carvers to wow us all over again.”
