WOLLASTON friends Sue McDowall and Sheila Wrigley have thanked all those who attended their Macmillan Coffee Morning which raised £647.50 for charity.
The event was held at Wollaston Methodist Church Hall, Cobden Street, on September 29 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support which offers help and support to those battling cancer and their family members.
Sheila Wrigley said: "Thanks too must go to the shopkeepers in Wollaston who put up posters advertising the event, people who donated cakes and to all those who helped in various ways to make the event a success."
