AN X-rated adult circus featuring topless feather dancers and promising “flesh and filth” is coming to Worcester for one night only.

After four sell-out performances this summer in the South West, Cirque du Vulgar is stopping off in the city on Saturday, October 27 for a show at the Ketch car boot sale site.

For over 18s only, the circus is set to feature a fire-breathing pyromaniac, hula hoop dancers, strong men, acrobatics, and a Dominatrix flying high in the Big Top.

A scantily-clad French Maid, suspended by elastic wrist cords, will also emerge dripping wet from a full-size bath – billed as a crowd favourite.

“You’ve never seen anything like Cirque du Vulgar before,” said Rosie Clarke, a spokeswoman for the circus.

“This year marks 250 years since the birth of circus arts in the UK, and we wanted to tear up the rule book and create a show which was refreshing, enticing, and aimed at a whole new audience.”

The organisers hope to prove that sex still sells, having put on sell-out shows in sleepy towns like Yeovil, and have plans to sweep through Devon and Cornwall this month.

Some of the more risqué elements of the night will include three ‘vulgarettes’ who will perform a teasing topless feather dance, while various male cast members will be bearing all in the name of entertainment.

“We’ve promised flesh, we’ve promised filth, we’ve promised stunts,” said ‘Frank’, one half of comedy duo Frank and Beans who provide the laughs with their vulgar jokes throughout the show.

“This is one circus show that you can’t take the kids to,” he added.

The big jaw-dropping finale sees two chiselled acrobats duelling with a ‘wheel of death’ as it rotates high in the air and they skip across the abyss.

Vulgar also features ‘hunks in trunks’, pole dancing, sequinned nipple tassels, the ‘Only Gay in the Circus’, a ukulele, champagne on ice and plenty of those trousers which rip off at the Velcro seams.

Tickets are £15 each for tiered seating or £25 for VIP tickets (ringside tables with service from the Vulgar characters, includes one free drink).
