A life-sized knitted replica of a soldier has appeared at a war memorial in Syston, Leicestershire, Press Association has reported.
The work has been placed next to the War Memorial Clock Tower by an anonymous artist who has been dubbed Knitting Banksy.
Much like Banksy, the identity of the artist is not known, but has created a level of fame and fascination due to her knitted creations.
Her art has been appearing around Syston for the last two years.

Among the works she has placed atop local pillar boxes include tributes to the Queen, FA Cup winners Leicester City and actor Stephen Graham, as well as a bust of a soldier for last year’s Armistice Day.
Now it seems she has topped herself. Creating a life-size replica of a soldier, all from wool.
She told the BBC she was choosing to remain anonymous so she could “stay in the shadows”.
The memorial has appeared in time for Remembrance Day, November 11, where people across the country will stop to remember the end of World War One and those who have lost their lives in battles since.
