TIM Gill, the Mayor of Ludlow, will be looking to raise as much money as possible in 2018 to support a charity that works with people who are in difficulty.

The Mayor has chosen Citizens Advice as the charity that we wants to support in his first year in office.

When he introduced the charity after being elected as Mayor in May he paid tribute to the work that it does to help people in the town by providing free advice that is given by a team of trained volunteers.

The charity provides people with support when facing a broad range of different problems.

However, the main issues that it deals with involve problems with money.

This can include benefits, the inability to pay imported bills and also problems related to housing.

Citizens Advice helps people respond to changes to the law that impact upon their lives.

One of the most important issues for people on benefits has been the introduction by the Government of the new Universal Credit.
