Ludlow Market auctioned off 801 spring lambs and 1,104 hoggets, with demand for lighter weights.
On April 28, buyers were eager to pay a premium for lighter spring lambs, with the top priced at £196.
The highest price per kg was 411p, with an overall average of 385p.
Hoggets, lighter and up to 46kg, were also in demand, reaching a top price of £180 and 368p per kg.
The overall average was 307p per kg.
The market saw 61 fat bulls sold, with the top price being £3,431.70.
The best bulls, including Limousin x and Blonde D'Aquitaine x, sold for over 430p per kg, with the highest at 451.5p per kg.
Prime cattle saw strong trade, with 64 steers and 68 heifers sold.
The top price for a steer was £2,439, with an average of 390p per kg.
Heifers reached a top price of £2,985, averaging 396p per kg.
Cull cows, with the top price at £2,162, were in demand, averaging 282p per kg.
Cull ewes, 479 in total, saw strong demand, with the top 45 lots selling for over £180.
The best Texel ewes topped at £300 for a pen of three.
Store cattle sales on April 25 saw 438 sold, with significant interest in pedigree bulls, fetching up to £5,880.
Feeding bulls had a firm trade, with the top price at £2,040 and an average of £1,008.
The top price for a steer was £2,500, with an average of £1,735; the top price for a heifer was £2,460, with an average of £1,665.
Feeding cows reached a top price of £2,000, with an average of £1,596.
Ewes and lambs on offer reached a top price of £325 per family, with an overall average of £245.
