POLICE have confirmed that a body found in isolated woodland near Ludlow was badly burned.
"We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this death," said Detective Chief Inspector Andy Hughes.
A post-mortem on the body - believed to be that of a man in his mid-30s but not yet formally identified - is going on over today (Wed) The body was found by a walker in Deepwood - part of Mortimer Forest - at 8.20am on Tuesday. A car had been parked nearby.
