A charity is appealing for a new coach, volunteers, and ponies to help continue its work.
Kyre Group RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association), based near Tenbury Wells, delivers therapeutic equestrian activities for children and adults from Worcestershire, South Shropshire, and North Herefordshire.
Activities include riding lessons, mounted games, pony painting and proficiency tests.
They are designed to take focus off physical and mental disabilities and more on improving physical capabilities, well-being and personal development.
The group now needs additional support to keep its Friday sessions running.
Jackie Forrester, an RDA coach, said: "Ideally we need another coach; someone with a little spare time on Fridays and some Thursdays during Term-time.
"Experience of working with horses would help but all training is provided and progressive.
"Although nationally the RDA has thousands of volunteers, at a local Member Group level, people can come and go and having a few too many supporters always gives us scope and security.
"As with our coaches, volunteers simply need a sweet nature, a little patience and time to give."
The charity also welcomes the donation of suitable ponies and horses.
Ms Forrester added: "So far as the ponies and horses are concerned, we are careful to work with animals that are calm, compliant and responsive to the warmth and care they are shown.
"Our horses are also used by the riding school.
"Anyone locally who might consider gifting a pony or horse to the Kyre RDA group is encouraged to make contact with us and find out more.
"Suitability, well-being and happiness are all-important."
