A six-week public consultation is underway on a draft environmental assessment report.

The consultation, which began on September 11, is seeking public opinions on a draft Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Scoping Report, which will help assess the environmental impact of Shropshire's forthcoming Local Plan.

Feedback is sought on all aspects of the report, including additional plans, policies, programmes, sources of information, and the approach to evaluating environmental effects.

The consultation, ending on October 21, aims to mitigate negative impacts, promote positive outcomes, and support sustainable development.

Details on how to participate are available on the Shropshire Council website.

All feedback received will be reviewed and used to inform the final SEA Scoping Report.
