Visitors to next month's Shropshire Petal Fields are being warned that they will face a different flower field experience at this year's event.
Organisers say weather conditions have led to shorter and more widely spaced blooms, creating a display that will look different from previous years.
The event will run from August 7 to August 16.
Ashley Evers-Swindell, head of marketing at Shropshire Petals, said: "Our blooms have endured an exceptionally challenging growing season.
"An unusually cold spring delayed the crop's development, and the two heatwaves that followed put the young plants under significant stress during key stages of growth.
"As a result, this year's flowers are expected to be much shorter and more widely spaced than in previous years."
Ashley said there would still be 'plenty of colour and beautiful spots to enjoy.'
Each year, the event takes place in a new field due to crop rotation, and this year’s site features is said to feature 'the most impressive woodland to date'.
Organisers said there will be a woodland walk, picnic spots in the woods, and some 'extra new surprises'.
