A road in Shropshire is set to be closed for up to three weeks.

Repairs at Grove Farm Culvert in Cardington will extend the ongoing closure until the project is complete.

The repairs are planned to start on Monday, July 20, and are expected to take up to three weeks.

The work includes rebuilding the downstream end of the existing culvert and resurfacing the road.

Vehicular access will be closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with traffic diverted via local roads using the current signed diversion route.

Pedestrian and dismounted cyclist access will be available when it's safe.

Any changes will be communicated via the yellow advance warning signs on site and through One.Network.

The work is being carried out by Kier.
