A PERSON has been taken to hospital in Stoke following an incident on the A55 near Penmaenmawr.
At 5.44am this morning (Thursday, May 2), North Wales Police officers attended an incident involving a pedestrian on the Westbound carriageway of the A55 between J16 Dwygyfylchi and J15a Penmaenmawr.
Colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service also attended and the road was closed.
A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "One person was taken to hospital in Stoke. The road was reopened shortly before 8am.
"Anyone who was in the area around the time, and any motorists with dashcam, are asked to contact us via our live webchat or on 101."
