THESE two adorable cats are looking for a forever home after being saved from euthanasia.

Leo and Ella were set to be put down after their owner could no longer look after them.

However, they were given a second chance at life by Warrington Animal Welfare, which runs a shelter on Slutchers Lane near the town centre.

With the shelter already at capacity, volunteers are seeking a loving home to care for these two beautiful cats.

The Warrington Animal Welfare team said: “Leo and Ella are lucky cats. They were sadly booked into the vets for euthanasia by their owner.

“Their owners have owned these cats since they were kittens, and due to an unexpected house move they were only allowed to take one pet, the dog, to the new home.

“Despite having no space to take any more cats in, and with some jigging around, we offered a lifeline to these beautiful cats.

“Leo is 11 years old and Ella is nine years old, and they have quite different personalities.

“Leo is an absolute ‘love bug’ and adores his cuddles, strokes and fuss. He likes to explore outdoors, so a safe location is a priority.

“Ella is more of a home girl. She likes to potter in the garden, but she is a classy girl who likes her home comforts.

“They do sleep together, but they are equally happy with their own space.

“If you would like to offer one or both of these fabulous cats a second chance at life, literally, please submit an application.”
