A NEW information board will be guiding locals and visitors alike through the history of Ludlow's Castle Square.

Ludlow Civic Society unveiled their latest new information board set up in Castle Square Ludlow to provide visitors with historical information about the square, its origins, and its buildings on Friday, December 8.

The design of the board was a combined effort of the work of the late Richard Hurlock, current committee members of Ludlow Civic Society, and the graphic skills of Mark Ansell of Blast Design. Border engineering constructed the frame.

The current chair of Ludlow Civic Society, John Cartwright, said: “Ludlow’s Castle square is a magnet for visitors and residents alike, it is a magnificent open space surrounded by listed buildings all with their own fascinating histories.

"The people of Ludlow are proud of their heritage and pleased to share it. Hopefully, this new board will provide visitors with information and stories to enrich their experience of this unique town."
