SOUTH Shropshire district councillor Tracey Huffer, of St Peters Ward, Ludlow, has called on residents of the Henley Road area to help combat a spate of thefts at the Henley Road Cemetery.
Among incidents of petty theft and vandalism was the loss of a statuette worth £40 from a grave.
She said: "I would appeal to anyone using this path or visiting the cemetery to keep an eye open and report anything suspicious to PC Tony Sewell at Ludlow Police Station."
