A STALKER who even followed her victim to a police station has been sentenced by magistrates.

Zoe Harris appeared before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing in November after entering guilty pleas to one count of stalking without fear, alarm, or distress at an earlier hearing.

The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 24-year-old had pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a man and which she knew or ought to have known amounted to harassment of him in Leominster and Craven Arms between February and March.

She had continually called him, texted him, turned up to his place of work, and followed him to Leominster police station, the court heard.

Harris, of Dun Cow Road in Rock Green, Ludlow, was handed a community order and fined £50.

She was also handed a two-year restraining order banning her from contacting the victim by any means and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £185 and a £114 victim surcharge.
