THE Ludlow Parish Wives have excelled themselves in raising funds for charity! Their designated charity 2007-8 has been The Ludlow Nightingale Fund and at the Parish Wives AGM on Monday evening the chairman of The Nightingale Fund, Dr Bev Farnell, was presented with a cheque for £2,098.
The members and committee of the Nightingale Fund are most grateful to the Parish Wives for their hard work. I am sure that the many sick people and their families who will benefit from this kindness will join me in thanking them and wishing them well in the future.
