I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank all those who helped me raise over £300 for my Mayoral Charity, Age Concern.
The coffee morning held at The Renaissance Centre on Saturday, June 28 was very successful and everyone chipped in to make it a lot of fun. There is still chance for people to buy raffle tickets for Bert the Bear, 50p per ticket. He will be visiting local businesses so don't miss him.
The next event I am organising to raise money for Age Concern will be at the end of August at Ludlow Market where the main prize will be raffled is a deluxe carpet kindly donated by Worldwide Carpets, Old Street, Ludlow there will also be a tombola with an assortment of prizes.
I am very grateful for all the support I have been given as Mayor and kind and thoughtful comments made to me by the residents and business people of Ludlow.
James Newbold, Mayor of Ludlow, Teme Avenue, Ludlow.
