A FARM near Tenbury has planned two Christmas events for next month.

Sarah Watmore, owner of the shop Miss Milly based at Mill Farm, told the Tenbury Wells Advertiser that her business, along with others at the farm, would be at the events next month.

On November 2, Mill Farm will host an "Early bird" Christmas shopping event from 10am to 8pm with free mulled wine and mince pies from 4pm onwards.

Miss Milly, Mrs Best Paper Company, Lottie's Eco and Bailey's will be offering 10 per cent off everything in their shops, while the Den cafe will be selling discounted coffee and cake.

For every spend of £5 or more during the day, shoppers will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a festive hamper worth over £300, made up of goodies from Mill Farm businesses.

The raffle draw will take place at the Mill Farm Christmas market day on November 25, when even more independent local traders will be joining the businesses at the farm.

There will also be carol singing and a Santa's grotto, which children can enter for £5 with no need to pre-book.

Ms Watmore said: "Autumn, winter and Christmas ranges will be available in all retailers. You'll be spoilt for choice of gorgeous treats. Mill Farm is a great place to find small local independent businesses."

Mill Farm has free parking, public toilets and accessibility ramps, so it is easy to spend a day there with everything you need.

Mill Farm describes itself on its website as "a shopping experience with a difference".

It says: "Mill Farm is the perfect place to spend a relaxing day with a mix of independent shops! Set within the stunning rural hill just down the road.

"Indulge your gardening passion with Angel Gardens Garden Centre and enjoy a spot of lunch on the terrace deck of the recently extended cafe bar.

"The unique mix of independent shops offer an unrivalled shopping experience."
