A TATTOO convention was recently held at Ludlow Racecourse.

A total of 55 of the best artists from across the UK showcased their work during the day, along with bespoke trade stalls.

There was also various entertainment, including live singing and bands, as well as bouncy castles and temporary stick-on tattoos for the young ones.

"We decided after many years of working tattoo conventions ourselves, and the fact that everyone is local, to have our own show in Ludlow," said organiser Noddy Goffin.

"It literally took us 12 months to plan. My plan was to try to create a convention like I used to go to 18 years ago, chilled friendly no egos, just a bunch of talented artists having a good time and getting some great prizes.

"The standard of the work was phenomenal. We will be returning next year bigger and better with more artists and entertainment and lots more trade stalls."
