CLASSIC cars, motorbikes, tractors and static oil engines were all available for people to enjoy as the annual Clungunford Classic Motor Show returned yesterday (August 13).

There were concerns that the weather my dampen spirits, but the event near Ludlow proved to be bigger and better than last year's.

The variety of exhibits gave the show a broad and interesting array of vehicles for the public. Music from a fairground organ belonging to John James, of nearby Broome, provided a strong presence in the background.

Visitor numbers exceeded expectations, with free parking and a wide variety of refreshments at the village hall.

The organisers would like to thank the committee and the large group of volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the event was a success.

Madeline and David Wilkinson provided the catering, while David Cole and his team organised over 150 exhibitors and trade stands.

Money raised on the day is being split between Midlands Air Ambulance and Clungunford Village Hall.

Next year's show will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
