A MOTORCYCLIST has died in a crash in south Shropshire, police have confirmed.
West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash on the A490 near Chirbury in Shropshire.
The crash involved a green Kawasaki 650 motorbike that was travelling along the A490 from Chirbury to Church Stoke, in South Shropshire, on July 1 at approximately 2.20pm, a police spokesperson said.
The motorcycle rider, who has been confirmed to have been a 69-year-old man, sadly died at the scene, West Mercia Police confirmed.
The spokesperson said that officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the crash or have dashcam footage that could be relevant to an investigation.
