A SPEEDING van driver has been fined after she was caught breaking the limit.
Rebecca Louise Colley entered a guilty plea to one count of exceeding a 30 miles per hour limit on a restricted road to magistrates in Llanelli.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 42-year-old had been caught on manned camera equipment breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Ford Transit van on the B4356 at Whitton in Powys on November 10.
She had been clocked at 39 miles per hour, the court heard.
Colley, of Birtley, Bucknell, was fined £40 and received three penalty points for the offence, with magistrates saying they had taken her guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £16 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
