THE team at the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms celebrated the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch on Sunday, when visitors were treated to a day dedicated to birds.

Visitors to Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre were able to attend a bird photography taster session.

There was a free introductory guided walk to see the birds of the Onny Meadows in the morning and afternoon.

People had the chance to make a bird feeder, bird sun catcher, bird identification wheel and more.

There was also the opportunity to make a bird box as well as report survey findings.

The annual bird watch provides valuable information about how some of the most common species are getting on and if numbers have gone down, increased or remained steady. It also gets people interested in birds and their identification.
