THERE is a new display to see Ludlow Museum At The Buttercross showcasing costume and ephemera from the Shropshire Historical Pageant and Comus Tercentenary performance of 1934.
These costumes from the Shropshire Museums Collections Centre give a flavour of what the Pageant must have been like for the local people who took part.
People who have memories to share are asked to contact the Museum.
The Museum at the Buttercross has become a significant attraction for visitors to the town as well as locals.
Last year it had a record number of people visit.
As well as displays there is also a programme of events that includes talks.
The museum is in what was the town’s Buttermarket and one time offices of the town council.
