MUCH admired Midland Air Ambulance Charity have received a further boost to their funds thanks to the generosity of a Redditch based law firm and solicitors.

FBC Manby Bowdler LLP have become the latest law firm to offer customers a free will writing service.

In return, customers will be encouraged to leave a legacy to the Midland Air Ambulance Charity which is one of the busiest in the UK covering no less than six counties.

Already the charity estimates that four in every 10 missions are funded through people who have left gifts to them in their wills.

FBC Manby Bowdler LLP who are situated on Church Road have become the 14th firm that have signed up to the scheme.

They are also raising awareness about how vital legacy donations have become for the charity and the significant role they play in making lifesaving missions possible for pre-hospital emergency service.

Charity spokesperson Emma Wood, who is their head of fundraising and marketing said: “Anyone who leaves a gift to our charity will contribute to our daily lifesaving missions in the area as part of their legacy.

“Almost 40 per cent of our daily missions are funded through the legacies we receive from those who have thoughtfully remembered our charity in their will.

“People in Redditch who are considering writing or updating their will can now do this completely free of charge with the team at FBC Manby Bowdler LLP”.

The free will writing service is available to anyone in Redditch aged 55 and over, regardless of whether they choose to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity in their will.
