THERE had been concerns that with many repairers away on holiday there could be a problem coping at the most recent repair cafe in Ludlow at the end of July.
But organiser Dianne Lyle need not have worried because it was very quiet.
The Repair Café was the quietest it has ever been," said Ms Lyle.
"We had only 14 items arrive at the Elim Church, mostly in the first hour, and fewer than half our repair team on duty, a combination of holidays and Covid. It meant we could cope with the items but it also meant the repairers spent the last hour with nothing to do.
"However, the atmosphere was still good and the feedback was positive."
The quarterly cafes are held in January, April, July and October.
