Two men have been given suspended jail terms after a series of distraction thefts in Worcestershire supermarkets.
Police arrested 41-year-old Alexandru Mihai and 28-year-old Ionut Munteanu after purse thefts at Waitrose in Droitwich, Lidl in Worcester and Aldi in Bromsgrove on Friday, June 17.
The two men were arrested on Monday, June 20 and have since been convicted of theft offences.

Mihai, of Reading, and Munteanu, from Derbyshire, were each given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
We reported this week that a 28-year-old man had been jailed for three days after stealing £1,000 worth of clothes from TK Maxx in Worcester.
