LUDLOW spring festival this weekend will bring crowds flocking to the town.

It is the 12th spring festival and will again be alongside the Marches Transport Festival, where a wide range of classic vehicles down the ages will be on display.

The spring festival starts on Friday evening and is staged in the grounds of Ludlow Castle.

It takes place throughout Saturday and Sunday will more than 60 exhibitors and a busy programme of activities for visitors to enjoy..

There will be more than 60 food and drink exhibitors with some of the best of local produce. The Festival was started as a little sister to the main event in September but is now a major attraction in its own right.

Attractions during the weekend will include talks and demonstrations, live music and activities for children.

It is open on Friday from 5pm until 9pm, Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. There is a range of tickets bookable online.
