WORCESTERSHIRE County Council is piloting a new programme to help businesses and organisations work towards net zero.
The Zero Carbon Ready Worcestershire programme is aimed at supporting organisations across the county to decarbonise and save money by reducing energy costs and carbon emissions.
The programme will provide specialist advice and other support.
“We know that energy consumption is a priority for us all at the moment,” said Sue Crow Economic Growth & Investment Manager at Worcestershire County Council.
“The Zero Carbon Ready Worcestershire programme is a chance for organisations to benefit from expert advice and support, to guide them through reducing their greenhouse emissions.
“Specialists will be able to offer free assessments and help organisations identify changes to improve energy efficiency.”
The Zero Carbon Ready Worcestershire programme, funded by the UK Community Renewal Fund, provides organisations with specialist decarbonisation advice to identify where existing energy consumption can be reduced and energy efficiency be improved.
All applications must be submitted by 30th June 30.
