LUDLOW Rotarians have handed over the money raised from the Christmas Tree of light in the town centre.

The Club acknowledges the kind and generous co-operation and support of Ludlow Town Council, Ludlow Advertiser, St Laurence’s Church, The Methodist Church, The Feathers Hotel and estate agents Nock Deighton to enable this.

More than £600 was raised and the Club was pleased to entertain the Mayor of Ludlow, Councillor Robin Pote and Councillor Erica Garner and to present cheques to them on behalf of Ludlow Youth Health, the Mayor’s Charity and Hands Together Ludlow.

Both charities work with people in and around Ludlow facing mental health problems and poverty as well as other social problems.
