BELLA Acappella, the Ludlow based all-female singing group, will hand over a cheque for £1,000 to local charity Hands Together Ludlow following their sell-out concert at Ludlow Brewery.
Led by Musical Director Amy Evans the Bellas entertained a full house at the Brewery just before Christmas with a mixed programme ranging from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to Silent Night to The Carpenters’ classic Close To You.
It was the Bellas’ first chance to perform in public in over two years and the audience gave the group a standing ovation at the end of the evening.
Local businesses chipped in by donating prizes for a grand raffle enabling the Bellas to hit their target of raising £1,000 for Hands Together Ludlow.
Susie O’Hagan, Operations Manager for Hands Together Ludlow said the charity was “blown away” by the efforts of Bella Acappella.
