THE Ludlow Tree of Light has raised £600 to help boost the funds of two charities in the town

Ludlow Mayor Robin Pote will be receiving £450 on behalf of Ludlow Young Health, which is his charity during his mayoral year and Councillor Erica Garner, a trustee of Hands Together Ludlow, will be receiving a cheque for £150.

This money, £600, has been raised through the generosity of Ludlow Rotary Tree of Light supporters who dug deep again despite the rising cost of living.

It is more than in 2020 partly due to more people Gift Aiding their dedications. The find raising was again supported by the staff of Nock Deighton’s office, Ludlow Town Council, The Feathers Hotel, St Laurence’s Church and the Methodist Chapel.

The Book of Remembrance is available on the Rotary Club website, https://.ludlowrotaryclub.org.uk/tree-of-light-dedications-2021/, and in the church and chapel.
