ST LAURENCE Church in Ludlow will be joining the fun this weekend.

It is staging a Medieval Bazaar 2021, which will be held on Friday, November 26 from 5-9pm, and Saturday, November 27 from 10am-6pm.

In addition to dozens of local artists and makers selling a wide variety of gifts, there will also be a raffle and a Lucky Pick stall in support of the church; local charity stalls; a bar on Friday evening, tended by the clergy team; pizza available on Friday evening and mulled wine, hot drinks, soup, and cakes available on Saturday; a Kids’ Zone on Saturday with giant Jenga blocks, snakes and ladders, face painting, and colouring; and a school choir singing Christmas carols on Saturday.

The church is the biggest tourist attraction in the town although like other venues it has been hit hard over the last two years by the Covid-19 pandemic that resulted in the closure of the church for weddings for a period and made it impossible for visitors to come in the usual numbers.

It is hoped that many people will call in whilst attending the Medieval Fayre in the Castle.

Entry is £1 each day.
