LUDLOW is represented in a group recognised for its support for the military that needs the backing of employers making staff available to serve.
Fifty employers from the West Midlands region received their Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Awards from West Midland Region.
The 2021 winners from Shropshire are: Bright Star Boxing Academy, Helen Massy, Medical and Health Writer, Home Instead Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Oswestry, Home Instead East Shropshire, MCP2 Ltd, Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land.
Shrewsbury College Group were also welcomed to receive their revalidated award after showing their continued commitment for five years since first receiving their award in 2016.
The ERS was launched in 2014 to recognise employer support for the wider principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
