ASHLEY Stanness is looking for support to open a small wildlife and conversation park in Craven Arms.
Mr Stanness, who has worked at similar attractions says that he is talking to a a landowner with the hope of reaching an agreement that would enable him to start work on the project during the winter with a view to opening next year.
He believes that such an attraction would help bring visitors into south Shropshire and would also be used by schools as an education resource.
It would be on a small scale needing just an acre of land and there would not be any exotic animals.
“The park would create jobs, boost the local economy and help people to love nature,” said Mr Stanness.
