LUDLOW Cancer Support Group will tomorrow be taking part in the charity, Breast Cancer Now’s fundraising ‘wear it pink’ day.
Members will flaunt their costumes whilst enjoying a Tai Chi session led by instructor, Rose Jacks, who has supported the Group since its inception seven years ago.
Exercise of any kind is good, and Ludlow Cancer Support Group was delighted when Kim Bebbington, Health Activator for Shrewsbury Town in the Community, suggested she joined members regularly for a number of gentle exercises which could be undertaken seated or standing.
The first session was a great success, and Kim will be joining the group once a month for more activity.
Dates are on the support group website, www.ludlowcancersupport.org.Cancer is one of the most common diseases in the UK and hardly anyone will not have either received a diagnosis or know someone who has.
