A LUDLOW pub is joining forces with volunteers to raise money for the town’s community hospital.
The recently appointed manager of The Squirrel in Sheet Road, has offered to help raise funds for Ludlow Community Hospital in conjunction with The League of Friends.
James Grant, previously managed a similar pub in Malvern.
“My wife and I worked together with Midlands Air Ambulance by running quiz nights, raffles and other events and helped raised more than £5,000 for them since autumn 2020,” said Mr Grant.
“We want to do the same here and Ludlow Community Hospital seems to be a worthy cause.”
Peter Corfield, chairman of the League of Friends said it was good to have the pub helping to raise money.
There are discussions about providing equipment to help staff at the hospital
The Quiz will be running every Wednesday and booking on 01584 879940 is recommended.
