Fire crews from across Shropshire and Powys were called to the scene of a barn fire in the early hours of Sunday (August 1).
Crews from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms were joined by Knighton Fire fighters after being called to the blaze in Newcastle on Clun which saw hay bales, farm buildings and machinery destroyed.
A statement from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 00:42 on Sunday, August 1, SFRS fire control received a call reporting a fire classified as barn fire in Newcastle on Clun.
"Five fire appliances including the light pumping unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun and Craven Arms. An operations officer was in attendance.
"Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire: Hosereel jet
"One barn 100 per cent involved in fire.
"The stop message was received at Sun, 08/01/2021 - 02:59".
Five crews battled through the early hours of Sunday morning to bring the fire under control.
A social media post by Clun fire station added: "On arrival, crews found one barn 100% involved in fire containing farm machinery.
"Assisted by colleagues from across the county, and crews from Knighton Fire Station the fire was brought under control."
