TOURS of the industrial sites of Titterstone Clee Hills are back.
After suffering two years of Covid and a heart attack in February, Alf Jenkins MBE was able to resume, by having his first two tours of the Industrial sites of the Titterstone Clee Hills.
He took a group from Neen Savage WI on an evening trip.
They began at 7.00pm from the Victoria Car park at the top end of Clee Hill Village. They started at the present working quarry and looked down on the min-grand canyon.
The group continued to the position of the overhead rope-way which ran from Magpie quarry from 1902 until 1939 before viewing the brick kiln in Orleton.
