  • After a competitive first 20 minutes it was the visitors who had the first effort with Nathanael Ogbeta finding Ryan Bowman inside the box, but his flick fell nicely for goalkeeper Brandon Hall.
  • At the other end Tom Owen-Evans tried his luck with a well-hit effort which was saved by Marko Marosi.
  • Marosi was forced into action again moments later a long Brandon Hall kick released Ryan McLean whose low effort was saved.
  • Bulls defender Ben Pollock was forced to makes a fantastic block at the other end just as Tom Bloxham was about to score inside the box.
  • After the break Daniel Udoh came on for Shrewsbury and forced Hall into action with a decent effort.
  • Miles Storey opened the scoring for Hereford on the 59th minute after Maziar Kouhyer's initial effort fell nicely for the marksman.
  • Seven minutes later Hereford came agonisingly close to a second goal.
  • Storey saw his cross force Marosi into a flapped clearance which fell to a Bulls trialist whose effort was clawed off the line by the Town goalkeeper.
  • Kouhyer was forcing havoc in the Shrewsbury defence and pulled away from his marker before forcing Marosi into a fine save.
  • Shrewsbury then came from behind with two goals in three minutes.
  • Kouhyer almost scored at one end forcing Marosi into action before Udoh attacked and crossed for Shaun Whalley who slid home.
